Boris Eckey, one of our HD Buttercup Design Consultants, is a rising star. This winter, he made his TV debut on Room Crashers and he’s scheduled to film a second episode with HGTV that will be aired later this year. Although Boris’ personal style is sleek and modern, he has a broad repertoire, giving him the ability to design a more traditional space, like the Tuscan dining room he did for Room Crashers. 

We asked Boris to tell us what it was like working on reality TV deadlines to pull off such a dramatic transformation that included new floors and beams, a new eight foot sliding glass door, and new archways. “I only had three weeks to plan every detail, make all the purchases and then had three, on camera days to make all the changes to the room.” He explains. In other words, Boris can remake your dining room before your next dinner party.
